LE PARETI
Le pareti del forno sono
realizzate con mattoni refrattari,
di differenti qualità in funzione
della temperatura e per ovviare
a eventuali attacchi alcalini;
in funzione della temperatura
e della larghezza del forno, i
mattoni sono installati a due
o tre teste per offrire una
barriera efficace anche in
caso di lunghe emergenze per
mancanza di corrente elettrica.
Gli isolamenti di parete,
costituiti da strati rigidi montati
a secco a giunti sfalsati non
richiedono uno specifico
preriscaldo.
Il doppio labirinto di tenuta
ad alta efficienza, permette al
forno di lavorare con elevati
valori di pressione.
La volta in appoggio, scarica
il proprio peso sulle pareti
assicurando un’elevata stabilità
dell’assieme anche durante la
normale dilatazione termica dei
mattoni refrattari.
WALLS
The kiln walls are built
from refractory bricks with
specifications that vary so
as to respond to different
temperatures and prevent any
alkaline aggression. Depending
on its width and temperature,
the kiln may have either doubleor
triple-skin walls so as to
provide an effective barrier
even in the event of lengthy
downtimes caused by power
failures.
Wall insulation consists
of dry-applied rigid layers
with staggered joints and
consequently requires no
preheating.
The high-efficiency double
sealed chicane allows the kiln
to operate at high pressures.
The weight of the roof rests
on the walls, guaranteeing the
entire structure a high degree
of stability during the normal
thermal expansion of the
refractory bricks.
