Coast 2 Coast Trek
The Coast to Coast Trek involves trekking 250km from the Caribbean
Sea to the Pacific Ocean.
“Summing up my trek into one paragraph is almost impossible. There
are so many memories; eating fresh bananas and coconuts in the
Caribbean, the incredible hospitality of the many communities that put
us up for the night, days of dense jungle containing snakes, white face
capuchin monkeys, red poison arrow dart frogs & parrots, bathing in
rivers and waterfalls, and of course the climax. Reaching the beach was
the most amazing feeling ever. We all knew that together as a team we
had walked across a continent. It’s amazing the great companionship
you can find within a close team and how much you can achieve when
you mentally believe it’s possible.”

La Caminara de Costa a Costa involucra una caminata de 250 km
desde el Mar Caribe hasta el Oceáno Pacífico.
“Resumir mi caminata en un párrafo es casi imposible. Hay tantos
recuerdos: el comer bananos y cocos frescos en el Caribe, la increíble
hospitalidad de las muchas comunidades que nos recibieron en la
noche, días de denso bosque en donde compartimos con serpientes,
monos cariblancos, ranas rojas venenosas y loras; el bañarse en rios y
cataratas, y por supuesto lo mejor de todo el finalmente llegar a la playa
fue lo mejor de todo. Todos sabíamos que juntos como grupo habíamos
caminado a través de un continente. Es increíble la grandiosa compañía
que se puede encontrar dentro de un grupo y lo mucho que se puede
lograr cuando mentalmente se cree que es posible”.
