Discusión. - Entre las especies del género
Ophiotaenia La Rue, nuestra O. persPicua La
Rue, 1911, se distingue de las demás por el número
de testículos en cada segmento maduro,
número de bolsas uterinas en cada lado de este
órgano y por la posición del atrio genital anterior
a la mitad del proglótido.

SUMMARY
It is reported a new species of genus HaPloparaxis
Clerc, dedicated to the mexican helminthologist
Dr. Eduardo Caballero y C.; as
well as the presence of Ligula intestinalis larval
stage by the ·first time in l\Texico. vVe give
also the redescription of a pseudophyllidean
cestode from Mexico and a proteocephalidae
from Panama.
