disminuyó un 8.4% siguiendo la línea <strong>de</strong> caída<br />
<strong>de</strong>l precio promedio.<br />
Más <strong>de</strong> 2.1 Millones <strong>de</strong> Hectáreas<br />
se Encuentran Bajo la Influencia <strong>de</strong><br />
las Finanzas <strong>de</strong>l <strong>Carbono</strong><br />
De <strong>los</strong> 226 proyectos carbono forestal que han<br />
intercambiado créditos, <strong>los</strong> proyectos OTC<br />
representaron el 90% <strong>de</strong>l número total <strong>de</strong><br />
proyectos, con un 6% adicional representado por<br />
la CCX. Solamente el 4% <strong>de</strong> <strong>los</strong> proyectos, que<br />
realizaron transacciones <strong>de</strong> créditos (incluyendo<br />
las ventas a futuro), equivalente a un total <strong>de</strong><br />
nueve proyectos, provenían <strong>de</strong> <strong>los</strong> mercados <strong>de</strong><br />
cumplimiento; cinco <strong>de</strong> estos provenían <strong>de</strong> la<br />
NSW GGAS, tres proyectos estaban relacionados<br />
con A/R <strong>de</strong> Kyoto, y uno con la ETS <strong>de</strong> Nueva<br />
Zelanda.<br />
Los <strong>de</strong>sarrolladores <strong>de</strong> proyectos reportaron un<br />
área total <strong>de</strong> 2.1 millones <strong>de</strong> hectáreas que se<br />

cubrieron 1.7 millones <strong>de</strong> hectáreas (83% <strong>de</strong>l<br />
área total), <strong>los</strong> proyectos <strong>de</strong> la CCX cubrieron<br />
306,552 hectáreas (14.6% <strong>de</strong>l área total) y <strong>los</strong><br />
proyectos <strong>de</strong> <strong>los</strong> mercados <strong>de</strong> cumplimiento<br />
apenas cubrieron 54,600 hectáreas (2.6% <strong>de</strong>l área<br />
total).<br />
Créditos Provenientes <strong>de</strong> Proyectos<br />
en 40 Países<br />
Norteamérica (7.2 MtCO 2 ) y América Latina (3.9<br />
MtCO 2 ) ocuparon el primer lugar en la lista <strong>de</strong><br />
lugares don<strong>de</strong> se originaron la mayor cantidad <strong>de</strong><br />
transacciones <strong>de</strong> créditos, representando el 39%<br />
y el 22% <strong>de</strong> las transacciones respectivamente.<br />
Oceanía, con proyectos principalmente <strong>de</strong><br />
Australia, representó el 16% <strong>de</strong>l volumen <strong>de</strong><br />
transacciones. África fue la fuente <strong>de</strong>l 11% <strong>de</strong> las<br />
transacciones, Asia representó el 6% y Europa el<br />
4% <strong>de</strong> las transacciones.<br />
Cuando se consi<strong>de</strong>ra el valor total <strong>de</strong> cada región,<br />
la clasificación es la siguiente: Oceanía $37.8<br />
