Eine exzessive oder unvollständige Gegenfärbung kann die korrekte Bewertung von Ergebnissen gefährden.<br />

Die klinische Bewertung einer vorliegenden bzw. fehlenden Färbung sollte durch morphologische Studien mit entsprechenden Kontrollen<br />

ergänzt und im Kontext der Krankengeschichte des Patienten und anderer diagnostischer Tests von einem qualifi zierten Pathologen<br />

vorgenommen werden.<br />

Antikörper von Leica Biosystems Newcastle Ltd sind wo angezeigt für die Verwendung entweder auf gefrorenen oder in Paraffi n<br />

eingebetteten Schnitten mit spezifi schen Fixierungsanforderungen bestimmt. Es kann insbesondere bei Neoplasmen zu einer<br />

unerwarteten Antigenexpression kommen. Die klinische Bewertung eines gefärbten Gewebeschnitts muss eine morphologische Analyse<br />

und die Auswertung der entsprechenden Kontrollen einschließen.<br />
