x Abstract Nowadays in the Internet exists real-time transmission services, either broadcasting live or prerecorded. These services can be free or have a price, but what they don’t offer is a quality of service that guarantees similar parameters than conventional television. For this reason, there have arisen some initiatives for the transmission of television over ADSL where this signal does not compete with the rest of Internet’s applications. This project aims to develop an IPTV scenario which gives us access to the increasing availability of content providers in the Internet in a way that can guarantee a certain quality of service, using the resources given by this architecture.
