he should see fit, but there is no evidence to show that he has done so, nor any papers
on file with regard to the subject matter].

Acompaña testimonio del Auto proveido por el Arzobispo Virrey, en vista de lo expuesto
por el Fiscal de la Auda. y del parecer del Asesor, Auditor de Guerra D. Pedro Malo, en
consequencia de lo mandado el año de 1735 sobre la recuperacion de la California
rebelada el de 1734, aviendose tenido presentes los Autos formados por D. Manuel de
Huydobro, que tuvo la comision de apaciguar aquel Pays, con todo lo demas acaecido,
hasta el año de 1740; y respécto de que las providencias del referido Auto, las
considera, por arregladas y conformes á las Reales Cédulas expedidas para la
conversion, y aumento de aquella christiandad. Suppca. se haya por presentado el
expresado testimonio y se conforme lo resuelto por el citado Auto que contiene.
