All the advanced telephone functions available in compatible Bluetooth devices can normally be used by the D Nect system. Example: it is possible to make voice calls from the helmet by saying the name of the person you wish to call. 20

It is also possible to record information you are given by a passer-by by saying “record” and to play it back by saying “play”. To use the helmet voice functions, first set the voice management functions on the telephone. To use the helmet voice functions press the multifunction button (if two helmets are linked in interphone mode they have to be unhooked), wait for the headphones to emit a tone from the phone, and say the name of the person you wish to call. The call will be put through to the helmet automatically. Certain telephones allow you to record voice commands directly from the helmet: set the voice command recording function on the telephone. When the display informs you that you can speak after the beep, press the helmet button. The beep can be heard inside the helmet and the command recorded from the helmet. These functions vary from phone to phone and do not depend on the D Nect system, which the telephone considers to be a standard ear-piece. See the instruction manual of your Bluetooth* mobile phone for further information. 21
