Switching on a helmet.
Press the multifunction button for 3 seconds until the LED stays on permanently,
which will be confirmed by a tone in the headphones. Release the button.
The LED will start to flash slowly, which means the helmet is on.
Interphone function.
First switch on the Slave helmet and then the Master helmet.
As soon as it is switched on the Master will search for the Slave and link to it
automatically. The helmets are now ready to communicate with each other, and
the Master can also communicate with the telephone it has been linked to.
If the two helmets cannot trace each other (low-pitched tone in the headphones),
switch them both off and repeat the operation.
Any two helmets that are switched on and linked may be conlinked at any time
by pressing the Master helmet button for 2 seconds (until the headphones emit
a tone).
Telephone function.
Switch on the helmet (Master or Slave).
As soon as the LED starts flashing, the helmet is ready for use with the phone
it has been linked to. The phone must also be switched on.
When a pre-linked helmet and telephone are unable to trace each other, switch
them both off and then back on again, or repeat the linking procedure.
N.B.: ensure that the helmet is always at the top of the list of devices linked to
the telephone. If the helmet is not the first on the list the functions are limited.
The telephone options enable a device to be set back to first place if it has
been replaced by a device linked more recently.
N.B.: A Master helmet, which is ON and nected to a telephone, may be linked
to a Slave helmet (also ON) at any time, even if the Slave is already linked to
its own telephone. Simply press the multifunction button on the Slave helmet
for 2 seconds (until the headphones emit a tone). The helmets must be within
10 metres of each other.
Example: I go for a ride on my motorcycle and nect my Master helmet to my
Bluetooth mobile phone. I meet my girlfriend, who is on her scooter and has
her Slave helmet ON and linked to her telephone.
My girlfriend gets on my motorcycle, I press the button on my Master helmet
for 2 seconds and I link to my girlfriend’s Slave helmet in interphone mode.
Both mobile phones will operate in accordance with the functions described in
the “Telephone use” section.
