Taquipnea persistente <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> infancia<br />
Hiperp<strong>la</strong>sia <strong>de</strong> célu<strong>la</strong>s neuroendocrinas <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong> infancia<br />
• Descrita por Fan (2001, 2005) (serie <strong>de</strong> 15 pacientes / 4 casos control)<br />
• Histología inespecífica y no diagnóstica (ausencia <strong>de</strong> compromiso intersticial<br />
inf<strong>la</strong>matorio, leves cambios inespecíficos como hiperp<strong>la</strong>sia <strong>de</strong>l músculo liso <strong>de</strong> <strong>la</strong><br />
vía aérea, aumento <strong>de</strong> los macrófagos alveo<strong>la</strong>res, focos <strong>de</strong> fibrosis e inf<strong>la</strong>mación<br />
en <strong>la</strong> vía aérea).<br />
• Dx IHQ: Aumento <strong>de</strong> célu<strong>la</strong>s neuroendocrinas, que se disponen en agregados en<br />
<strong>la</strong> vía aérea y aumento <strong>de</strong> cuerpos neuroepiteliales en el parénquima<br />
• IHQ bombesina y serotonina (series originales) pero también cromogranina A y<br />
sinaptofisina<br />
• No hay criterios formalmente establecidos (presencia <strong>de</strong> célu<strong>la</strong>s NE en >70%<br />
bronquiolos y al menos un bronquiolo individual con >10% <strong>de</strong> célu<strong>la</strong>s NE)<br />
• Recientemente se han <strong>de</strong>scrito casos familiares<br />
