PANCAKE RECIPE<br />
INGREDIENTS<br />
- 200 plain flour.<br />
- A pinch of salt.<br />
- 2 Eggs.<br />
- A pint of milk = 0.5l<br />
- 50 g of butter.<br />
Method of making the pancake:<br />
1. Mix the flour and the salt into a large bowl. (Mezclar la harina y la sal).<br />
2. Make a hole in the centre of the flour and break the eggs into it. (Hacer<br />
un agujero en el centro donde se echarán los huevos).<br />
3. Whisk the eggs making sure any bits of flour are mixed in with the egg.<br />
(Batir los huevos y mezclarlos bien con la harina).<br />
4. Gradually add small quantities of the milk, still whisking. (Echar la leche<br />
poco a poco sin parar de batir).<br />
5. Continue whisking until the butter is smooth. (Continuar batiendo hasta<br />
que quede la masa suave).<br />
6. Melt the butter in a non-stick frying pan. (Derretir la mantequilla en una<br />
sartén antiadherente).<br />
7. Spoon 2 tbsp of the melted butter into the batter and whisk it in. (Añadir 2<br />
cucharadas de mantequilla derretida en la mezcla y cocinarla en la<br />
sartén).<br />
