MY JOURNEY TO JAPAN

Three years ago, I went to
Japan.
I stayed there for
eighteen days. I travelled
by plane with my two sons,
Juan and Miguel.
When we arrived in Japan,
my eldest son, Santiago,
and his wife, Cecilia, were
waiting for us. They have
lived in Japan for three
years, more or less, and
they came with us to show
us the most interesting
areas in Japan.
We stayed in their house in Osaka for some days and the rest of time, in a hotel in
Tokyo. We rented a car and visited Osaka (our son lived at university, about 100
km away) Kyoto, Nara, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Kobe destroyed by an earthquake in
January in 1995 and completely rebuilt later.
We saw very, very beautiful temples and an impressive bridge besides especial
people. We also travelled by train, the Sincasen, the fastest train in Japan.
Finally, we went to Mount Fuji, but we didn´t see it because the weather was very
cloudy. I liked this holiday very much.
MY TRAVEL TO TÚNEZ
Last August I went to Túnez on holidays
for eight days. I went with my friend Marisa. We
travelled by plane. I was afraid of flying but
Marisa convinced me at the airport.
When we arrived in Túnez, we met a
tourist guide. We went on the bus with him and
then we began to walk around Túnez. We visited
mosques, oasis, Roman ruins and the desert. I
enjoyed these holidays very much. All of us
liked it and I saw a different country.
