or request». O la identidad plena entre el subjuntivo y el imperativo
(BASSOLS, 1948: II, 1, 452-3): «Este uso del subjun tivo [yusivo] es
equivalente al del imperativo. En un principio se pretendía establecer
una diferencia de matiz entre ambos giros y se afi rmaba que el
subjuntivo atenuaba la fuerza del mandato y, por tanto, que en cierto
modo venía a corresponder al optativo griego usado en el lenguaje
urbano para dar una orden. No obstante, después de los estudios de
Langen, confi rmados por Blase y Kroll, está fuera de toda duda que en
nada se diferencian ambas formas yusivas».
