Investigadores del ICP, en colaboración con la Universidade<br />

Nova de Lisboa y con el IMDEA-Nanociencia,<br />

han desarrollado un bio-ánodo de oxidación de H2,<br />

basado en la inmovilización covalente y orientada de<br />

la metaloenzima hidrogenasa sobre electrodos de oro<br />

funcionalizados por reducción de una sal de diaozonio.<br />

La orientación de la hidrogenasa permite la transferencia<br />

directa de electrones desde los centros redox del<br />

enzima hacia el electrodo.<br />
