Obama's day: A Western campaign swing<br />

Good morning from The Oval, on a day when<br />

President Obama heads to the West Coast to do some<br />

campaigning.First up are two stops in Seattle, one at a<br />

private home and the other at the Paramount<br />

Theater.Then it's down to Los Angeles, where Obama<br />

headlines a campaign event at George Clooney's<br />

place in Studio City, Calif., tapping his huge Hollywood<br />

donor base.The president wraps up his trip Friday in<br />

Reno.The trip comes a day after Obama announced<br />

that he now supports the legalization of gay marriage,<br />

a USA TODAY team reports.Expect to hear more<br />

about that today, as both parties assess the political<br />

fallout.In other news:New bombings in Syria killed at<br />

least 40 people.Senators want the Environmental<br />

Protection Agency to investigate lead factory sites,<br />
