collaboration with the municipal Farming Department
and the island’s Cabildo made it possible for 360 fruit
trees to be planted.
A total of 65 farmers benefited from this campaign with
olive trees, pear trees, fig trees from La Gomera, pome
granate trees and mulberry trees. In total the demand
for olive trees reached 180, pear trees 30, fig trees 95,
pome granate trees 32 and mulberry trees 33.

ALS 360 OBSTBÄUMEN IN PÁJARA
Die jährliche Kampagne, bei der gratis Obstbäume
verteilt werden, um auf dem Gelände von
Landwirtschafts- und Viehzuchtbetrieben dieses Ortes
gepflanzt zu werden, war ein großer Erfolg.
Dank dieser Initiative, die vom Amt für
Landwirtschaft, Viehzucht und Fischerei gemeinsam
mit der Gesellschaft für Landwirtschaft und dem Cabildo
von Fuerteventura ins Leben gerufen worden ist,
wurden im Ort mehr als 360 Obstbäume gepflanzt.
Insgesamt 65 Landwirte und/oder Viehzüchter
nutzten diese Kampagne, bei der Olivenbäume,
Birnbäume, Feigenbäume, La-Gomera-Feigen,
Granatbäume und Maulbeerbäume angeboten
wurden. Insgesamt wurden auf die Nachfrage der
Bürger 180 Olivenbäume, 3 Birnbäume, 95
Feigenbäume, 32 Granatbäume und 33
Maulbeerbäume abgegeben.
LA GESTORA AGROPECUARIA APOYA
A LA COFRADÍA DE PESCADORES DE
MORRO JABLE
La Gestora Agropecuaria de Pájara y la Cofradía de
Pescadores de Morro Jable han suscrito un contrato
de suministro por el cual la entidad mercantil municipal
adquiere diverso material por valor de 17.900
euros.
El ayuntamiento informó de que la Cofradía de Morro
Jable realizó en su momento una importante inversión
en la adquisición de malla y varillas metálicas
para la confección de nasas; pero ante la instauración
de un paro biológico que afecta a esta arte de
pesca, ese material quedó como stock, pero inutilizable
para los pescadores. Asimismo, declara que la
Cofradía ofertó a precio módico dicho material para
su uso público.
La Gestora Agropecuaria de Pájara necesita este tipo
de material para acometer las labores de mantenimiento
del vallado de protección del ganado en el
mancomún de Jandía, por lo que se determinó la adquisición
del mismo a la Cofradía de Pescadores.

THE FARMING DEPARTMENT BACKS UP
MORRO JABLE’S FISHERMEN’S
ASSOCIATION
The Farming Department of Pájara and the
Fishermen’s Association of Morro Jable have signed a
supply agreement where the municipality will acquire
17.900 euros worth of material.
The Ayuntamiento has announced that the
Association of Morro Jable had invested significantly in
the acquisition of nets and other equipment used to
make metal fishing baskets; but because of the
biological rest period that has affected the fishing
industry, this material has been kept as stock and left
unused by fishermen. Therefore, the Association has
offered this equipment at a reduced price for public use.
The Farming Department of Pájara needs this type
of equipment to maintain the fencing that protects the
livestock in the area of Jandía, which is the reason
why they decided to buy it from the Fishermen’s
Association.
This decision will help not only to improve the fishing
industry that has known a great decrease in catches
because of the biological rest period and the
prohibition of metal fishing baskets but will also
contribute to install and maintain the fencing that
safeguards the coastal livestock.

Die Gesellschaft für Landwirtschaft der Gemeinde
von Pájara und die Berufsvereinigung der Fischer aus
Morro Jable haben einen Liefervertrag unterzeichnet,
durch die Gesellschaft für Landwirtschaft
verschiedenes Material im Wert von 17.900 Euro
erwirbt.
Die Gemeinde teilte mit, dass die Berufsvereinigung
von Morro Jable damals eine bedeutende Investition
gemacht hatte, um Netze und Metallstangen für die
Herstellung von Fischreusen zu kaufen. Wegen einer
die Fischerei betreffenden biologischen Flaute war
dieses Material jedoch als für die Fischer nicht zu
gebrauchender Lagerbestand zurückgeblieben. Es
wurde auch erklärt, dass die Berufsvereinigung dieses
Material zu einem geringen Preis für die öffentliche
Nutzung anbot.
Die Gesellschaft für Landwirtschaft von Pájara
braucht derartiges Material für die Instandhaltung des
Zauns zum Schutze des Viehs in der
Zweckgemeinschaft von Jandía und kaufte es deshalb
der Berufsvereinigung der Fischer ab.
Diese Maßnahme trägt nicht nur dazu bei, den
Fischereisektor zu stärken, der wegen dieser
biologischen Flaute und dem Verbot der Reusen einen
Rückgang registriert, sondern führt auch dazu, dass ein
Zaum zum Schutze des Viehs der Küste errichtet wird.
LAS PLAYAS DE PÁJARA OBTIENEN
BANDERA AZUL
El ayuntamiento informó recientemente de que las
playas de Butihondo, Solana Matorral y Costa Calma
han logrado por sexto año consecutivo la distinción
que supone contar con una Bandera Azul.
Para obtener una bandera azul se valoran, entre otros,
criterios como la limpieza de las aguas, los servicios de
salvamento con que cuenta, los paneles informativos
de que dispone, y la seguridad y accesibilidad.
La Bandera Azul es un galardón internacional que
se concede anualmente y que se otorga a playas y
puertos deportivos, como símbolo identificativo de una
alta calidad ambiental y unos buenos servicios, entre
ellos los de seguridad para los usuarios.
PÁJARA BEACHES OBTAIN THE BLUE
FLAG
The Ayuntamiento has recently announced that the
beaches of Butihondo, Solana Matorral and Costa
Calma have managed to get the Blue Flag distinction
for the sixth consecutive year.
In order to obtain the Blue Flag, criteria such as
cleanliness of water, rescue services, information
boards, safety and accessibility are assessed.
The Blue Flag is an international award that is
currently being given to beaches and leisure harbours
as an identifying symbol of high environment quality
and good services, such as safety for the public.
DIE STRÄNDE VON PÁJARA ERHALTEN DIE
BLAUE FAHNE
Die Gemeinde informierte kürzlich, dass die Strände
von Butihondo, Solana Matorral und Costa Calma im
sechsten auf einander folgenden Jahr eine blaue
Fahne tragen dürfen.
Bei der Vergabe der blauen Fahne werden unter
anderem Kriterien wie die Sauberkeit des Wassers,
die Rettungsdienste, der Informationsschilder sowie
Sicherheit und Zugänglichkeit bewertet.
Die blaue Fahne ist eine internationale
Auszeichnung, die jedes Jahr als Symbol für eine
hervorragend erhaltene Umwelt und gute Leistungen,
zu denen auch die Sicherheit der Nutzer gehört, an
Strände und Sporthäfen vergeben wird.

El Consejo Insular de Aguas de Fuerteventura (CIAF)
ha trasladado sus oficinas hasta el centro de Puerto
del Rosario (C/23 de Mayo, nº 11, tfno. 928530448),
desde su anterior ubicación en el edificio de servicios
múltiples del Cabildo (C/ Lucha canaria, s/n). De esta
forma, los servicios del Consejo ya se vienen prestando
en las nuevas oficinas, que cuentan con un espacio
más cómodo y amplio para atención al ciudadano.
