ROWE has been sponsoring various race teams of the
VLN endurance racing championship and the 24-hour
race at Nürburgring since 2005. Starting 2008, ROWE
has had its own race team on the track. Bundling broad
motorsports competency, the ROWE race team boasts a
proud and successful track record in diverse racing series.
The team also scored the second-best Porsche result in
the legendary 24-hour race at the Nürburgring 2010. Since
the 2011 season, the lubricant manufacturer’s team
has been competing under the name ROWE RACING
with two brand-new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT 3 racing
vehicles.

The newly established Motorsport Competence Group
(MCG) will be responsible for the ROWE RACING team’s
trackside operations. As well as preparing for the competitions,
MCG will be focusing on intensive research
and development activities including maintenance tasks.
