To save with a wide acceptance band:<br />
5b Set an additional unassigned DIL switch<br />
(S2.1–6, here: S2.4) upward to ON.<br />
The acceptance band has been widened.<br />
Now you can set DIL switch S2.7 downward<br />
to OFF.<br />
The LED on <strong>the</strong> left-hand side <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> coin<br />
validator will light up once if <strong>the</strong> saving<br />
operation has been successful and it will light up twice if <strong>the</strong>re has been<br />
an error during <strong>the</strong> saving operation.<br />

To abort <strong>the</strong> operation, first set <strong>the</strong> DIL switch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> respective coin<br />
channel (here: S2.3) and <strong>the</strong>n S2.7 downward to OFF.<br />
6 Set DIL switch (S2.1–6, here: S2.3) for <strong>the</strong><br />
taught coin channel downward to OFF.<br />
The new coin type/token will now be<br />
accepted for payment by <strong>the</strong> coin validator.<br />
7 Set DIL switches S2.1–6 back to <strong>the</strong> desired position for <strong>the</strong> normal<br />
<strong>operating</strong> mode (cp. also section "Inhibiting coins" in this chapter).<br />
