Hardware 3.6 Communication Ports 3.6.1 V.24 / com Ventura Remote PLC features a serial COM port which is used as a CoDeSys programming interface or for connecting dialog terminals to. 3.6.2 PROFIBUS Hardware Ventura Remote PLC DP is a PROFIBUS-DP slave. To connect to PROFIBUS, attach a 9-pin male Sub-D connector to the female Sub-D PROFIBUS port on the unit. Its address is set at the configuration stage. The PROFIBUS jack of Ventura Remote PLC supplies the required voltage.
