Error Handling 8.3.3 Watchdog (Program Runtime Exceeded, Error #3) Cause � Total program runtime has exceeded the set watchdog time Indication � "failure" LED flashes � CoDeSys reports communication error Reaction � STOP: The program is stopped � RESET: local outputs and non-buffered markers, timers and counters are reset � external outputs (PROFIBUS) off Corrective action � Modify the program to shorten the runtime � Restart the controller: - Hardware: turn power off and back on, or - Software: in CoDeSys, choose, Reset, then Start 184 E 700 GB
