6.2.4 Master-Slave Data Communication
PROFIBUS
Following successful initialisation, the master starts
exchanging data always repeating the same routine:
Sent by Frame Recipient
master sends output data slave
slave sends input data master
The volume of data transferred is specified when
configuring the master project.
The maximum transfer volume is 100 words (200 byte)
which can be made up of several data modules.

Ventura Remote PLC DP uses global variable DPSLAVE
to store the data (inputs and outputs) plus the information
about the configuration and the PROFIBUS status. The
data type of DPSLAVE is SPC3_P690 which is defined in
library P690.LIB.
� Run the CoDeSys PLC Configuration Editor and
display the Library Manager screen.
� Choose P690.LIB and open folder "Data types".
