Software 5.3.7.2 A, B, Ref Up/Down Counter The A, B, Ref counter is a 32-bit counter that counts the alternations of pin A and pin B signals. It can discriminate phases to enable up/down count detection. The counter is controlled either by the Ref impulse of an encoder or by a sensor attached to the Ref input. 5.3.7.2.1 A, B, Ref Counter Setup Run the PLC Configuration Editor to set up the A, B, Ref counter. � Choose "Resources, PLC Configuration, <strong>Kuhnke</strong> Ventura Remote IO CAN (or DP), Internal IO, Counter1 A-BRef". � Set the options as appropriate. Run_IRQmod_after_reference_value (Aufruf_Ubst_bei_ Vergleichswert) Setting to say whether or not a reference value IRQ module is to be run when the count equals a reference value. The reference value can be 0 or set to any other value in the user program. Resolution of the rotary encoder: single or four-fold. Reference interrupt (Referenzinterrupt) Software Specifies whether an impulse received by the Ref input will generate an interrupt request. The next two parameters, i.e. - run_IRQmod_after_reference_interrupt - clear_counter_after_reference_interrupt allow you to specify which of the two available functions will be run. Clear_counter_after_reference_value (Zaehler_loeschen_bei_Vergleichswert erreicht) Specifies whether the counter reading is cleared or just a reference value interrupt request is generated when the count equals a previously set reference value. A reference value IRQ will occur whenever a count equals a reference value, no matter whether clear_counter_after_reference_value is set or not. 147
