Fuxx Control ARS 2320 / ARS 2340 KUHNKE Automation 8.3.4 Connection: External braking resistor [X9] at the ARS 2320 The ARS 2320 servo positioning controller has an internal brake chopper with braking resistor. For more braking power, an external braking resistor can be connected to pin-and-socket connector [X9]. Table 28: Pin assignment [X9] at the ARS 2320: External braking resistor Pin no. PHOENIX Power- Combicon at X9 Figure 18: Pin assignment [X9] at the ARS -560/20-M: Supply and braking resistor 8.4 Connection at the ARS 2340 servo positioning controller: Power supply [X9] and braking resistor [X9A] The ARS 2340 servo positioning controller is supplied with three-phase mains power through connector [X9]. As an alternative to AC power supply or as a DC-link, direct DC power supply for the DC-link is possible via connector [X9]. The ARS 2340 servo positioning controller receives its 24VDC power supply for the electronic control system through connector [X3].
