1889 Anton Kreidler founded the "Stuttgarter Telegraphendraht und
Kabelfabrik Kreidler", a factory producing telegraph wire and cable.
1904 Motorcycle production begins at Anton Kreidler’s metalworks.
1921 The property is extended and a pressing plant edifi ce is built.
1942 World War II deals the company a heavy blow; the consequences
are plundering and reparation payments.
1949 Development of motorised bicycles begins.
1950 Kreidler builds its fi rst bike, the K50, and debuts it at the IFMA
one year later.
1954 Cameraman and traveller Günter Markert circumnavigates the
globe on a Kreidler R50 scooter.
1957 Revamp of the product range; from the K50 comes the likely most
familiar model, the Florett 50.
1960 New vehicle model Florett Mokick.
1961 Kreidler presents the new mopeds Florett Super and Florett 4-Gear.
1964 Kreidler sets a legendary world record for speed with the Florett
5-gear at Salt Lake in the US-state of Utah: 130,88 mph.
1971 Kreidler is world champion at the 50 cm 3 Cup in 1971, 1972, 1973,
1974, 1975, 1979, 1980 and 1982.
1975 Kreidler brings the Mofa Flory MF12 on the market.
1976 The millionth vehicle rolls out of the factory. Rudolf Kunz becomes
a multiple German champion.
1977 The world champion's technology breaks all records! A 50 ccm
motorcycle breaks the world record for a 0,62 miles rolling start
at 137 mph.
2004 Kreidler develops the fi rst street-legal racing go-cart.
2007 Kreidler Europe Motor GmbH is founded.
2008 Presentation of nine new models at the Intermot 2008 in Cologne.
2009 Introduction of the Galactica model, which was developed
in-house.
2010 2010 First electric scooter in the Kreidler model range.
2010 In summer of 2010 Kreidler took over sales in Germany for LML.
2011 Presentation of the Supermoto 250 DD. Kreidler enters into the
motorcycle scene.
