1889 Anton <strong>Kreidler</strong> founded the "Stuttgarter Telegraphendraht und<br />

Kabelfabrik <strong>Kreidler</strong>", a factory producing telegraph wire and cable.<br />

1904 Motorcycle production begins at Anton <strong>Kreidler</strong>’s metalworks.<br />

1921 The property is extended and a pressing plant edifi ce is built.<br />

1942 World War II deals the company a heavy blow; the consequences<br />

are plundering and reparation payments.<br />

1949 Development of motorised bicycles begins.<br />

1950 <strong>Kreidler</strong> builds its fi rst bike, the K50, and debuts it at the IFMA<br />

one year later.<br />

1954 Cameraman and traveller Günter Markert circumnavigates the<br />

globe on a <strong>Kreidler</strong> R50 scooter.<br />

1957 Revamp of the product range; from the K50 comes the likely most<br />

familiar model, the Florett 50.<br />

1960 New vehicle model Florett Mokick.<br />

1961 <strong>Kreidler</strong> presents the new mopeds Florett Super and Florett 4-Gear.<br />

1964 <strong>Kreidler</strong> sets a legendary world record for speed with the Florett<br />

5-gear at Salt Lake in the US-state of Utah: 130,88 mph.<br />

1971 <strong>Kreidler</strong> is world champion at the 50 cm 3 Cup in 1971, 1972, 1973,<br />

1974, 1975, 1979, 1980 and 1982.<br />

1975 <strong>Kreidler</strong> brings the Mofa Flory MF12 on the market.<br />

1976 The millionth vehicle rolls out of the factory. Rudolf Kunz becomes<br />

a multiple German champion.<br />

1977 The world champion's technology breaks all records! A 50 ccm<br />

motorcycle breaks the world record for a 0,62 miles rolling start<br />

at 137 mph.<br />

2004 <strong>Kreidler</strong> develops the fi rst street-legal racing go-cart.<br />

2007 <strong>Kreidler</strong> Europe Motor GmbH is founded.<br />

2008 Presentation of nine new models at the Intermot 2008 in Cologne.<br />

2009 Introduction of the Galactica model, which was developed<br />

in-house.<br />

2010 2010 First electric scooter in the <strong>Kreidler</strong> model range.<br />

2010 In summer of 2010 <strong>Kreidler</strong> took over sales in Germany for LML.<br />

2011 Presentation of the Supermoto 250 DD. <strong>Kreidler</strong> enters into the<br />

motorcycle scene.
