time first team selection. Coppage rushed the ball 318 times this season for 1,919 yards, a 6.0 yards per<br />

rush average, 27 rushing <strong>to</strong>uchdowns, and a per game rushing average of 147.6 yards. Coppage also<br />

caught 11 passes for 91 yards on the season. He also played an instrumental late season role in the<br />

return game for the <strong>Warhawks</strong>, returning 11 punts for 165 yards, a 15.0 yard per return average. On<br />

Oc<strong>to</strong>ber 29, in a win over UW-Stevens Point, Coppage broke former UW-<strong>Whitewater</strong> running back Justin<br />

Beaver's career school and <strong>Wisconsin</strong> Intercollegiate Athletics Conference rushing record, which he has<br />

increased <strong>to</strong> 7,594 yards, also second in NCAA III his<strong>to</strong>ry. Coppage is the only UW-W and WIAC running<br />

back <strong>to</strong> rush for over 1,000 yards in all four years of his career.<br />

Offensive tackle Logan Allemand (Kenosha/Tremper) was the other first team offensive selection for the<br />

<strong>Warhawks</strong>. Allemand anchored an offensive line that has paved the way for 442.0 <strong>to</strong>tal yards per game<br />

and 37.1 points per game, while allowing only seven quarterback sacks in the <strong>Warhawks</strong>' 13 games.<br />

Defensive tackle Casey Casper (Dousman/Kettle Moraine) was the first of two <strong>Warhawks</strong> named <strong>to</strong> the<br />

All-West first team defense. Casper recorded 48 <strong>to</strong>tal tackles, 25 solo tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss<br />

resulting in a <strong>to</strong>tal loss of 35 yards, along with 5.0 sacks for 22 yards lost. He also broke up one pass,<br />

and forced one fumble and recovered one.<br />

Linebacker Greg Arnold (Big Bend/Mukwonago) was the other Warhawk on defense named <strong>to</strong> All-West<br />

first team. Arnold led the <strong>Warhawks</strong> in tackles with 61 despite missing more than three games. He also<br />

recorded 7.5 tackles for loss resulting in a <strong>to</strong>tal loss of 20 yards. Arnold also recorded three interceptions,<br />

recovered one fumble, and blocked one kick.<br />

Quarterback Matt Blanchard (Lake Zurich, IL/Lake Zurich) was named <strong>to</strong> this year's All-West second<br />

team. Blanchard has completed 68.6% of his 287 pass attempts for 2576 yards, along with 22 passing<br />

<strong>to</strong>uchdowns and three interceptions. Blanchard's passing efficiency of 167.24 is good for fifth in the<br />

NCAA III statistics. He has also ran the ball 75 times for 401 yards, an average of 5.25 yards per attempt,<br />

along with one rushing <strong>to</strong>uchdown. Blanchard is also one of the finalists for this year's Gagliardi Trophy.<br />

Cornerback Noah Timm (Two Rivers/Two Rivers) was named <strong>to</strong> this year's All-West Third Team. He led<br />

the <strong>Warhawks</strong> and the WIAC in interceptions with seven. Timm also broke up ten passes, which led the<br />

team and was second in the conference. He also recorded 46 <strong>to</strong>tal tackles, two for a loss, forced two<br />

fumbles, and blocked a kick. Timm, Casper, and Arnold anchored the Warhawk defense which led the<br />

WIAC in scoring defense, rushing defense, <strong>to</strong>tal defense, opponent third down conversions, and sacks.<br />

The individual honors are a reflection of UW-W's seventh straight <strong>Wisconsin</strong> Intercollegiate Athletic<br />

Conference title, a run in the NCAA III playoffs that has reached the semifinal game for the seventh<br />

consecutive year, and a 13-0 record.<br />

Update December 6 ... Matt Blanchard (Lake Zurich, IL/Lake Zurich) is one of the <strong>to</strong>p four finalists<br />

for the 2011 Gagliardi Trophy, given <strong>to</strong> an outstanding student athlete playing football in Division<br />

III of the NCAA by Jostens Inc. and the J-Club of St. John's University of Minnesota. Blanchard, as<br />

a guest of Jostens and the J-Club, will be flown <strong>to</strong> Salem, Virginia where the presentation of the<br />
