during the 2009-2010 school year, and is a Bible study leader. Kiesow was honored with the NCAA's<br />
Elite 88 Award for the highest grade point at a championship event, the Stagg Bowl, last year. He is a<br />
two year starter at defensive back.<br />
Rosholt, UW-W's punter for four years, is a senior physical education major with an emphasis in health<br />
education and special education. He has a 3.77 cumulative GPA, attaining Dean's List honors each<br />
semester. He has been on the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll three years and earned the UW-<strong>Whitewater</strong><br />
Academic Achievement Award three times. He received the Nishan Education Scholarship. Rosholt<br />
participated in the Souls for Soles shoe drive, mustache May, Relay for Life, and Reading with the<br />
<strong>Warhawks</strong>. He is also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a Bible study leader.<br />
As All-District picks both players will be placed on a national ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America<br />
honors. CoSIDA has eight districts. The recognition is not an au<strong>to</strong>matic threshold, but a competitive<br />
ballot that sports information professionals nation-wide vote on.<br />
Kiesow and Rosholt have been a part of four consecutive WIAC championship teams, with those teams<br />
also advancing championship game, the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl, in the NCAA III playoffs in 2008, 2009<br />
and 2010, winning national titles the last two years. The duo is part of a senior class that has gone 53-2<br />
overall, and 27-1 in the WIAC.<br />
UW-W will open the 2011 NCAA playoffs Saturday, November 19, hosting Albion College for a <strong>12</strong>:00<br />
kickoff at Perkins Stadium.<br />
<strong>Warhawks</strong> Wrap Up Regular Season 10-0<br />

UW-<strong>Whitewater</strong> closed out the regular season with a 17-3 win over UW-La Crosse Saturday at Perkins<br />
Stadium in <strong>Whitewater</strong>. UW-W, 10-0 overall and 7-0 in the WIAC, now awaits word on the NCAA III<br />
championship playoffs, which we will begin Saturday, November 19. UW-W expects <strong>to</strong> receive a home<br />
game, but the opponent and time won't be known until late Sunday.<br />
Midway through the first quarter UW-W started a drive on its 33 yard line. The <strong>Warhawks</strong> advanced <strong>to</strong><br />
the UW-L 14, where the drive stalled. Eric Kindler (German<strong>to</strong>wn/German<strong>to</strong>wn) put the first points on the<br />
board with a 23-yard field goal with 1:36 left in the quarter.<br />
La Crosse <strong>to</strong>ok the ensuing kickoff out <strong>to</strong> the 41. The Eagles used six plays <strong>to</strong> put the ball on<br />
<strong>Whitewater</strong>'s 23, but with a first and ten Andy Sires went for the end zone and Warhawk defensive back<br />
Ryan Wenkman (<strong>Wisconsin</strong> Dells/<strong>Wisconsin</strong> Dells) picked it off at the two.<br />
The Eagles forced <strong>Whitewater</strong> <strong>to</strong> go three and out, and after a punt were set up with the offense starting<br />
at <strong>Whitewater</strong>'s 45 yard line. Ten plays later UW-L was facing a fourth and 18 at the 33, and the Eagles<br />
faked a punt but the ball carrier was s<strong>to</strong>pped short.<br />
<strong>Whitewater</strong> turned that play around and went on its longest drive of the day, made even longer by two<br />
penalties on the <strong>Warhawks</strong>. Matt Blanchard (Lake Zurich, IL/Lake Zurich) threw the ball six times in the<br />
drive, completing five for 50 yards. Blanchard and Luke Menzel (Sheboygan Falls/Oostburg) combined<br />
