UW-W is 9-0 overall and 6-0 in the WIAC. The <strong>Warhawks</strong> will close the regular season November <strong>12</strong>,<br />
hosting UW-La Crosse at 1:00 in Perkins Stadium. With the win UW-W is assured of a berth in the NCAA<br />
III playoffs that will begin November 19.<br />
Tickets for home games are sold at the University Center ticket office on the main campus mall Monday-<br />
Friday during normal business hours, and are available at the stadium on game day. Call 262-472-2222<br />

<strong>Warhawks</strong> Stay at #1<br />

The UW-<strong>Whitewater</strong> football team continues its stay at number one in both the D3football.com Top 25<br />
Poll, with 20 out of 25 first place votes, and AFCA Division III Coaches Poll, with 40 out of 41 first place<br />
votes, after its 37-22 win over UW-Eau Claire on Saturday, November 1 increased the record <strong>to</strong> 9-0.<br />
This is the tenth week in a row that the team sits at the <strong>to</strong>p of both polls just above Mountain Union once<br />
again. With last week's win the team secured sole possession of their seventh straight conference title<br />
along with extending the nation's longest win streak across any division at 39 straight games.<br />
The team will finish the regular season on Senior Day in the Shrine Game as they host UW-La Crosse<br />
Saturday, November <strong>12</strong> at 1:00 p.m. at Perkins Stadium.<br />

Today's Game<br />
UW-W closes the 2011 regular season with the annual Senior Day and Shrine Game. Seniors and the<br />
Shrine honoree will be introduced at the game.<br />
Last Year<br />
Wait a minute, didn't we see the Eagles before? With the new WIAC schedule in place, playing a<br />
conference opponent twice with one of the two games counting as the league tilt, the <strong>Warhawks</strong> and<br />
Eagles met at Harring Veterans Memorial Stadium in the first game of this season. This week's contest is<br />
the one that counts in the league standings. As both coaches would point out, there has been a lot of<br />
water under the bridge since that meeting.<br />
<strong>Whitewater</strong> won the opener, 26-7. The <strong>Warhawks</strong>' opening drive resulted in an Eric Kindler<br />
(German<strong>to</strong>wn/German<strong>to</strong>wn) 36-yard field goal, and Levell Coppage (Oak Park, IL/Oak Park)'s one yard<br />
run on the second possession made it 10-0. Late in the second quarter, facing a third and eight at their<br />
18, Louissaint Minett picked off a Mike Butterfield pass. Kindler converted from 33 yards <strong>to</strong> make it 13-0<br />
with 2:07 in the half. UW-W's defense forced a three and out, and the resulting field position allowed<br />
Kindler <strong>to</strong> make it 16-0 with a 41-yarder with 18 seconds left. <strong>Whitewater</strong> held La Crosse <strong>to</strong> two first<br />
