UW-Whitewater, 10-0, will continue its quest for a third consecutive NCAA Division III football
championship with a first round game against Albion College, 6-4 and the champion of the Michigan
Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Kickoff Saturday at Perkins Stadium is set for 12:00. The UW-W
ticket office, in the Connor University Center on the main campus mall, will be handling tickets, which will
also be sold at the stadium on game day beginning at 10:00. Tickets are $11 for adults, $5 for students

UW-Whitewater won its record seventh consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
championship in 2011, extending the Warhawks' win streak to 40 games, the longest active streak in any
division of college football. That streak is tied for the fifth (University of Washington, 1908-1914) longest
ever in NCAA football.
Albion is coming into the playoffs on a streak of six wins in their last seven games. The Britons lost to
FCS series member Butler University 31-17 on the road to open the season, then fell to Wheaton College
(IL), a team that was ranked all season, 54-34 at Wheaton. UW-Stevens Point made it an 0-3 start with a
14-3 win in Albion's Homecoming game. The Britons' lone loss over the second half of the season was to
DePauw, 7-3 November 5.
Albion is keyed by running back Clinton Orr, the school's all-time rusher with 3,163 yards. Orr, who
played just nine games this season, has exactly 1,000 yards rushing in that span, averaging 5.2 per
carry. Backup Wes Dolen average 4.4 behind a line that has Albion rushing for 4.2 yards per attempt as
a team. Quarterback Spencer Krauss has completed 59.8 percent of his passes for 1,321 yards, 12
touchdowns and seven interceptions. Five receivers are in double figures for catches, with Brian Spencer
leading the group with 58 catches and six touchdowns.
The Briton defense is led by defensive back Lorenzo Reese, who tops on the team with five
interceptions. John Lesinski is number one with 74 tackles, and C.J. Carroll has 15 tackles for a loss and
11.5 quarterback sacks.

University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seniors Jared Kiesow (Horicon/Horicon) and Kris Rosholt
(Reedsburg/Reedsburg) have been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America
Division III Academic All-District Football Team, sponsored by Capitol One.
The CoSIDA Capitol One program recognizes student athletes that excelled in the classroom with
significant contributions to their team. UW-W's district includes Division III schools in Minnesota,
Michigan and Wisconsin.
Kiesow is a senior elementary education major with a 3.89 (4.0 scale) cumulative grade point. He is a
Karl and Doris Zahn Scholarship recipient, has earned UW-W's Student Athlete Achievement Award three
years, is a multiple honoree on the Dean's List, and been on the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference Scholastic Honor Roll three years. Kiesow participated in the Souls for Soles shoe drive
