<strong>UW</strong>-<strong>Whitewater</strong>, 10-0, will continue its quest for a third consecutive NCAA Division III football<br />
championship with a first round game against Albion College, 6-4 and the champion of the Michigan<br />
Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Kickoff Saturday at Perkins Stadium is set for <strong>12</strong>:00. The <strong>UW</strong>-W<br />
ticket office, in the Connor University Center on the main campus mall, will be handling tickets, which will<br />
also be sold at the stadium on game day beginning at 10:00. Tickets are $11 for adults, $5 for students<br />

<strong>UW</strong>-<strong>Whitewater</strong> postseason website<br />
<strong>UW</strong>-<strong>Whitewater</strong> won its record seventh consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference<br />
championship in 2011, extending the Warhawks' win streak <strong>to</strong> 40 games, the longest active streak in any<br />
division of college football. That streak is tied for the fifth (University of Washing<strong>to</strong>n, 1908-1914) longest<br />
ever in NCAA football.<br />
Albion is coming in<strong>to</strong> the playoffs on a streak of six wins in their last seven games. The Bri<strong>to</strong>ns lost <strong>to</strong><br />
FCS series member Butler University 31-17 on the road <strong>to</strong> open the season, then fell <strong>to</strong> Whea<strong>to</strong>n College<br />
(IL), a team that was ranked all season, 54-34 at Whea<strong>to</strong>n. <strong>UW</strong>-Stevens Point made it an 0-3 start with a<br />
14-3 win in Albion's Homecoming game. The Bri<strong>to</strong>ns' lone loss over the second half of the season was <strong>to</strong><br />
DePauw, 7-3 November 5.<br />
Albion is keyed by running back Clin<strong>to</strong>n Orr, the school's all-time rusher with 3,163 yards. Orr, who<br />
played just nine games this season, has exactly 1,000 yards rushing in that span, averaging 5.2 per<br />
carry. Backup Wes Dolen average 4.4 behind a line that has Albion rushing for 4.2 yards per attempt as<br />
a team. Quarterback Spencer Krauss has completed 59.8 percent of his passes for 1,321 yards, <strong>12</strong><br />
<strong>to</strong>uchdowns and seven interceptions. Five receivers are in double figures for catches, with Brian Spencer<br />
leading the group with 58 catches and six <strong>to</strong>uchdowns.<br />
The Bri<strong>to</strong>n defense is led by defensive back Lorenzo Reese, who <strong>to</strong>ps on the team with five<br />
interceptions. John Lesinski is number one with 74 tackles, and C.J. Carroll has 15 tackles for a loss and<br />
11.5 quarterback sacks.<br />

University of Wisconsin-<strong>Whitewater</strong> seniors Jared Kiesow (Horicon/Horicon) and Kris Rosholt<br />
(Reedsburg/Reedsburg) have been named <strong>to</strong> the College Sports Information Direc<strong>to</strong>rs of America<br />
Division III Academic All-District Football Team, sponsored by Capi<strong>to</strong>l One.<br />
The CoSIDA Capi<strong>to</strong>l One program recognizes student athletes that excelled in the classroom with<br />
significant contributions <strong>to</strong> their team. <strong>UW</strong>-W's district includes Division III schools in Minnesota,<br />
Michigan and Wisconsin.<br />
Kiesow is a senior elementary education major with a 3.89 (4.0 scale) cumulative grade point. He is a<br />
Karl and Doris Zahn Scholarship recipient, has earned <strong>UW</strong>-W's Student Athlete Achievement Award three<br />
years, is a multiple honoree on the Dean's List, and been on the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic<br />
Conference Scholastic Honor Roll three years. Kiesow participated in the Souls for Soles shoe drive<br />
