In cooperation with our attending midwives
at “bauchgefühl” and a branch of Cnopf’sche
Kinderklinik Nuremberg we offer:
• modern, family orientated obstetrics during
delivery and postdelivery care with the highest
degree of safety for mother and child.
• 24/7 presence of gynecologist, midwife, anesthesiologist
and pediatrician (neonatologist)
• care for imminent premature deliveries, emphasis
on prenatal care, which means that delivery is
possible after week 33.

Dear women,
patients and families,
at the OB/Gyn Clinic at the Ansbach Hospital
we offer almost all treatments of gynecological
diseases.
The chief physician has a specific qualification
for the treatment of malignant diseases of the
female genitals and breasts; he is therefore a
“gynecological oncologist”. Due to the excellent
intensive care and anesthesiological units,
even the most extensive surgeries of tumors
are possible at the gynecological clinic of Ansbach
Hospital. However, we also offer any type
of surgery of benign diseases i. e. prolapses of
the uterus, incontinence, bleeding disorders,
ovarian cysts, myomas etc. This is done by
traditional surgery or as minimally invasive
surgery (laparascopy/hysteroscopy).

Brustzentrum Westmittelfranken is a certified hospital according
to the standards of Deutsche Krebsgesellschaft and is
therefore recommended for the treatment of the benign and
malignant diseases of the breast.
We offer special counseling for difficult cases. Below you will

• diagnostic and surgical laparascopy
(ovarian and tube surgery, enucleation of
myomas, lymph nodes etc.)
• diagnostic and surgical hysteroscopy (deformities,
anomalies, endometrial ablation,
dilatation & curettage)
• tension free vaginal tapes (TVT, TVT-O)
and colposuspension for incontinence and
recurrences
• prolapse surgery for first as well as recurring
cases – through the vagina or through
the abdomen with or without polypropylene
tape
• surgical laparascopy or abdominal incision
(laparatomy), depending on case, if necessary
with partial removal of bowel sections
or ureter. Even in serious cases of endometriosis
the uterus is preserved

i. e. division of uterine septum, unification of
two separate cavities of the uterus, vaginal
reconstruction using bowel segments
As mentioned above, our special field includes
the whole range of surgical and medical treatment
of the female genitals (vulva, vagina,
ovaries and tubes) and, of course, the breast.
• radical and ultra radical surgery of ovarian
cancer (so-called Multivisceral Surgery),
exenteration with reconstruction (continent
neo-bladder / neo-vagina using bowel segments
etc.)
• nerve preserving surgery to avoid malfunctions
of the bladder or bowels, e. g. in the
case of cervical cancer
• vulvar cancer (cancer of the external genitals),
if indicated with reconstruction using
skin flaps and muscle rotation flaps – for this
malignant neoplasm with additional removal
of sentinel lymph node to avoid the high risk
of edema in the legs

deformation of the breast, plastic
reconstruction of the breast and weekly,
