We know that choosing the films you want to see among the vast array of 122 feature films can be a daunting task. That’s why
each film in the Festival is placed inside our sidebars (one-time groupings of films) and sections (permanent categories). Every
year filmgoers are comforted by the return of our Festival sections, which cover a wide variety of interests and topics. The films
screening in each of the sections are listed here, but you can also determine which sections a film falls into by looking at the
bars at the top of each film description.

Independents**
This year, thanks to the generosity
of Time Warner Cable,
our American Independents section
will be a competition. The
winner will be determined by
audience vote and will receive
a cash prize of $2,500.
