Brissette moved from Boston to Winston<br />

Salem, NC so Stephen could get his MBA<br />

at Duke through the Sara Lee Corp. They<br />

have a son, Jackson. Roni left a wonderful<br />

job with the Rouse Co. at Faneuil Hall Marketplace<br />

and began a new career as an account<br />

executive in Long Hayes and Carr/<br />

Lintas. After leaving that job she has been<br />

following a more entrepreneurial pursuit.<br />

Wagner had their first child, Harris Rubien<br />

Wagner, on Nov. 11, '93. Deborah, who is<br />

living in Sunnyside, NY, stays in touch with<br />

Donna Lawrence (another former housemate),<br />

who is the executive director of Family<br />

Dynamics, a child abuse prevention agency<br />

based in New York City.<br />

Steve Gunby writes that he and wife<br />

Margaret Pearson had their first child, Benjamin<br />

Pearson Gunby, on Dec. 27, '93. Steve<br />

continues to work at the Boston Consulting<br />

Group, where he is a partner. His wife is a<br />

government professor at Dartmouth College.<br />

Amy Dingle Ivy is working for the Cooperative<br />

Extension Service in upstate New<br />

York, giving advice on topics such as horticulture.<br />

She and husband Rob live in Whallonsburg<br />

and have kids Ben, 10, and Caroline,<br />

Life is hectic but very rewarding for<br />

Jane Sabin Sklar, who lives in Fort Lee,<br />

NJ with husband Michael and Sam, 5. Jane<br />

is working for Discovery Toys. Through<br />

Discovery, she is doing charity work to help<br />

sick children—or, as she put it, "changing<br />

the world one child at a time."<br />

Out on the West Coast in Berkeley, CA,<br />

Mitchell Zeemont and wife Laura Blair had<br />

their second daughter, Maya Jessie, on Jan.<br />

31, '94. She joins sister Anna, who just<br />

turned 3 in April. Maj. Thomas C. McCarthy<br />

writes that he is an armored brigade<br />

executive officer in Erlangen, Germany. He<br />

and his Swiss wife, Monika, and her son<br />

Tobias came back to the US for the first time<br />

in eight years last June. Deborah A.<br />

Krause married David Pasternack, a media<br />

technician, on Sept. 5, '93. She hosted the<br />

summer 1993 conference of the New England<br />

chapter of the American Horticultural<br />

Therapy Assn. at Perkins School for the Blind<br />

in Watertown, MA, where she works as the<br />

horticulture teacher/coordinator.<br />

is having fun working at the largest<br />

sports bar in the Northeast. At this operation<br />

you can play golf, bowl, throw baseballs,<br />

footballs, play pool, etc., as well as watch<br />

any sporting event in the country, including<br />

<strong>Cornell</strong>'s. He also owns several apartment<br />

buildings and is a golf pro in Albany, NY.<br />

Michael K. Tucker has moved to Chicago,<br />

IL to be associate general counsel of<br />

General Electric Railcar Services Corp. Also<br />

in Chicago is David Mogul, assistant<br />

professor at Northwestern U.'s biomedical<br />

engineering dept. He is married and has children<br />

Alexandra, 5, and Eli, 2. Recently relocated<br />

to Las Vegas, NV is Lisa Strauss<br />

Kideckel. Husband Rabbi Earl Kideckel received<br />

a pulpit there and moved with children<br />

Stacey, 7, and Cory 4 1/2, from NY<br />

State. They are all getting used to the great<br />

change. Lisa is a full-time mom who had<br />

been very involved in volunteer work and<br />

hopes to resume the same in Las Vegas.<br />

She would love to hear from other <strong>Cornell</strong>ians<br />

in the area and perhaps start a club<br />

there. She would like to hear from Dave<br />

Peterson and Gary Tucker, with whom<br />

she has lost touch since leaving campus. You<br />

His wife, Marie, is with Coopers & Lybrand.<br />

Sharon Flank is a computational linguist<br />

in Washington, DC. She tries to get a computer<br />

to understand Spanish, Japanese, and<br />

English. She recently married her graduate<br />

school sweetheart, Vojislav Maksimovic, and<br />

is enjoying their urban lifestyle. Robert R.<br />

Gilbert has taken a new position at Lehman<br />

Brothers in security operations. They<br />

are putting together a new operation to replace<br />

what Shearson obtained when bought<br />

by Smith Barney.<br />

Elizabeth Rakov Igleheart writes that<br />

she saw C. Anne Vitullo '77 at a company<br />

meeting in Dallas, TX. Both she and Anne<br />

are consultants for the same firm. Anne consults<br />

in communications, and Liz works in<br />

health and welfare plan designs. Liz also<br />

spoke with Myra Chow, who continues to<br />

work with Levi Strauss and is the mother of<br />

Peter, 18 months. Liz and husband Bill are<br />

parents of daughter Alex, 6, who attends<br />

private school in Dallas, and Austin, 19 months,<br />

who is busy being a real boy at home.<br />

Living in White Plains, NY are Daniel<br />

Rosen and wife Rachel. They moved from a<br />

New York City apartment and added a third<br />

child to their family in 1992. Natasha Eve<br />

joined sons Thomas, 5, and Issac, 4. Daniel<br />

changed jobs and is currently with Lehman<br />

Brothers, where he designs foreign currency<br />

trading systems.<br />

Michelle Kay Garvey, MBA '81 and<br />

husband Luke, MBA '82 are living in Hinsdale,<br />

IL where Michelle is a vice president<br />

at Sportmart. They have children Luke Joseph,<br />

1, and Alison Maureen, 3. The law firm<br />

of Saladoff and Pleat was recently established<br />

in Rockville, MD with Susan Vogel Saladoff<br />

as partner. The firm specializes in personal<br />

injury, medical malpractice and products<br />

liability in Maryland and Washington,<br />

DC. Susan was also elected to the board of<br />

directors of Trial Lawyers for Public Justice<br />

and the board of governors of the Trial Lawyers<br />

Assn. of Metropolitan DC. She and husband<br />

Robert have children Rebecca, 5-1/2,<br />

and Dana, 3. Susan keeps in touch with<br />

Debbie Klein Goldberger, Bob Lipman,<br />

and Suzanne Kalfus '80.<br />

Pierre Crawley writes that business<br />

has taken him to Guangdong, China; Ho Chi<br />

Minh City, Vietnam; Bangkok, Thailand; and<br />

Paris, France. His company, Strohmeyer &<br />

Arpe Co. Inc. in Short Hills, NJ, distributes<br />

Kings Pantry brand products to supermarkets.<br />

He encourages us to buy these products<br />

and support a fellow <strong>Cornell</strong>ian.<br />

Living in Columbia, South Carolina and<br />

working on a pharmacy degree is Janice<br />

Smith Yensan. She is at home with Matthew<br />

Lee, 1-1/2, and Brad, 5-1/2. She would<br />

love to see any <strong>Cornell</strong>ians who are traveling<br />

through Columbia, so look her up at 5528<br />

Sylvan Dr. Also writing to us from the great<br />

South is Geoffrey Ford, who lives in rural<br />

Franklin, TN and works for IBM in marketing.<br />

He and wife Kerry have daughters<br />

Jaime, 2-1/2, and Blair, 4-1/2. Jeff has served<br />

on several community action boards for adult<br />

literacy, prevention of domestic violence, and<br />

recycling of office resources. He also writes<br />

that he thinks he has seen classmates Dave<br />

Stocker and Wendi Friedman on a TV<br />

commercial and cable news, respectively.
