EX OFFICIO DUTIES
While my ex officio duties as member of the various
boards and commissions is also increasing, I feel the value
of my services in that connection is growing because of the
experience gained.
I was a member of the Legislature of 1911, I had served
as a clerk in both branches prior to that time. With the ex-
ception of time out in World War One I have served in ad-
ministrative branches of the state government since the fall
of 1911. This means I have served under thirteen Governors
and in the Cabinet of nine. I realize few men have had the
advantage of such a long and varied experience and it is
with a high degree of satisfaction that I can give to my State
the fullest benefiit made possible by this long and varied
experience in state government administration.
