2.5. SOFTWARE (OSCOP P) 11 2.5.2 Software modules The program package OSCOP P consists of several different program modules. This modules are described below. Not all programs are necessary for data transmission. Main program modules Parameterize PC The "Parameterize PC" program module is used to set the basic sys- tem parameters which are: name and passwords of the authorized users of OS- COP P, standard interfaces of the PC, number and parameters of the respective SIMEAS Rs. Once these settings have been entered, later modification is not re- quired unless the user wishes to provide an extension to the existing SIMEAS R unit (additional DAU modules or new SIMEAS R systems, modification of the passwords of existing SIMEAS R systems or new access authority for OSCOP P). Parameterize devices Parameterize module, where the registration device of type SIMEAS R is parameterized. Transfer Communication module, which transfers the recorded disturbances to the evaluation PC. Evaluate Graphical evaluation module, where the disturbances are displayed graphi- cally Additional program modules Simple Diagnosis Diagnosis module which can determine kind and location of failure in the controlled branch. Complex Diagnosis Diagnosis module which can determine kind and location of failure in controlled branch. In addition to simple Diagnosis, the effect to the higher- ranking network is evaluated. Statistic module SICARO PQ Diagnosis module which makes an analysis about the power quality. The recordings are evaluated according to the norms EN50160

It is the channel for the voltage in phase L1 on the power network simulator. The trigger levels for maximum voltage, minimum voltage and the rate of change of the voltage. The page for currents is similar to this page. Figure 2.2: OSCOP P parameterizing Figure 2.3 shows the visualization of a recorded fault. RMS values are choosed to show. It can be seen, that there was a ground failure in phase L1. The RMS values are given in each phase an at the different segments. In figure 2.4 the same fault as in figure 2.3 can be seen. This view shows the fault in analog values. In this view it is possible to recognize the transient phenomenom at the beginning and the end of the fault.
