Normal operation In normal operation, all functions and triggers are active. Depend-
ing on the configured averaging time, recordings are performed continuously .
If a trigger limit is violated, a recording begins with prefault values, fault pro-
gression and post-fault values. The cause of the trigger violation is stored with
the header data. Depending on the configuration, any SIMEAS R connected via
the LAN network is also triggered.
Blocked operation In blocked operation, no recording is initiated when a trigger con-
dition occurs. All triggers are inactive, and the signalling relay is not energized.
The device is only active in the "digital recorder" mode.
This operating mode is selected when maintenance work is carried out on the
affected feeders.
Test operation In test operation, as in normal operation, all functions and triggers are
active, however, the recorded events always have "Test" entered as their cause.
The signalling relay "Event currently being recorded" is not energized. This op-
erating mode is used to test the SIMEAS R.
The operating modes can be selected via the keyboard. Remote control using OSCOP
P (see chapter 5) is also possible.
2.5 Software (OSCOP P)
2.5.1 Application range
OSCOP P is a program package for transmission and diagnosis of measured values,
which have been recorded with power quality recorder SIMEAS R.
The user is able to control the transmission and diagnosis in manual or automatic op-
eration. The results are send to the printer.
