G6PD levels were unrelated to starting blood Pb; however, they<br />

increased in subjects whose blood Pb concentration increased from<br />

30 µg/dL or decreased from >30 µg/dL to<br />

30 µg/dL subgroup, increasing blood Pb was associated<br />

with decreasing magnitude <strong>of</strong> change <strong>of</strong> G6PD (∃ = −2.0797 [SE<br />

0.7173], p < 0.05).<br />

Serum cholesterol levels were unrelated to blood Pb concentration.
