before they were born again and wrote <strong>of</strong> some who died<br />

in the faith before baptism in Jesus’ name. Nevertheless,<br />

he taught that baptism in Jesus’ name is for the remission<br />

<strong>of</strong> sins. It is necessary to go in the Rapture and escape the<br />

Tribulation. He also believed strongly that the baptism <strong>of</strong><br />

the Holy Spirit is necessary. 149 People who believed in God<br />

and lived righteous lives “without ever coming to the light<br />

<strong>of</strong> being born again according to Acts 2:38” will rise in<br />

the second resurrection, presumably to live on the new<br />

Conclusions<br />

In chapter 5, we will discuss doctrines <strong>of</strong> Trinitarian<br />

Pentecostals, make comparisons, and draw conclusions<br />

about the theology <strong>of</strong> Pentecostals overall.<br />
