The funds raised are usually given in the form of a gift chosen by the class. Seniors Kelly Sullivan (left) and Mallary Jaracz, proudly show off the t-shirts they received as donors to the Annual Fund. This year the class of 2008 chose to focus on participation and let each individual senior decide which area of the college he/she would like to support. With a total participation of thirty-nine percent, the class raised $805 dollars to be used for student life, scholarships, campus maintenance and beautification, technology, teaching and learning and unrestricted areas of need. “We liked the idea of students being able to choose where their pledge would go because that way they could be assured it would go toward something they were passionate about, and we figured more of our classmates would give if they had choices.” –– KERI CROATTI Class of 2008 Treasurer “Colby-Sawyer is a great college with great potential, and it’s given me a lot, which motivates me to give back.” –– CAROLINE BARONE Class of 2008 Vice President
