pods and wi-fi . The restaurant (mains Sfr20<br />

to Sfr35) rustles up local favourites.<br />

at this family-run B&B. The light, home-style<br />

the main drag, this 100-year-old family-run<br />

hotel shelters large, sunny rooms with parquet<br />

Benacus FUSION $$<br />

urban air with its glass walls, wine-red sofas,<br />

lounge music and street-facing terrace. The<br />

TV show Funky Kitchen Club is fi lmed here.<br />

The menu stars creative fl avours like perch<br />

fi lets with guacamole and Simmentaler veal<br />

with creamy basil mash.<br />

Blueberry’s CAFE $<br />

Fri, 10am-9pm Sat, noon-8pm Sun) Every bit as<br />

zingy as its name suggests, this lime-walled<br />

cafe churns out fresh-pressed juices (try<br />

watermelon or apple-mint), appetising wraps<br />

and bagels, and spot-on blueberry smoothies.<br />

Little Thai THAI $<br />

Next to Balmer’s, this hole-in-the-wall den<br />

is authentically Thai, festooned with pics of<br />

lucky cats. Snag a table to chomp on Eddie’s<br />

freshly prepared spring rolls, homemade<br />

curries and spicy papaya salads.<br />

La Terrasse FUSION $$$<br />

is a high-class vision of marble, chandeliers<br />

and gleaming silverware. Thanks to chef<br />

Lukas Stalder, the food is as exquisite as the<br />

setting. The sommelier will help you choose<br />

fi ne wines to go with innovative dishes like<br />

roasted scallops with lemon verbena kefi r,<br />

cherries and liquorice salt.<br />

Goldener Anker INTERNATIONAL $$<br />

eaters will fi nd dishes that please at this<br />

beamed restaurant. The globetrotting menu<br />

zebra-striped cafe is a great snack spot.<br />

Choose your bread and get creative with<br />
