EASYACCESS CARD<br />

From May to October, the three-day<br />

easyaccess card (adult/child Sfr36/21)<br />

gives you free access to most public<br />

transport and mountain railways, entry<br />

to the swimming pool, climbing hall,<br />

bowling alley and the high-rope park in<br />

Zweisimmen, plus discounts on other<br />

sights and activities. It’s available at the<br />

tourist offi ce and most hotels, and can<br />

be extended daily at a cost of Sfr12/7<br />

8 Getting There & Away<br />

Gstaad is on the Golden Pass route between<br />

Montreux (Sfr24, 1½ hours) and Spiez (Sfr25,<br />

1½ hours; change at Zweisimmen). There is an<br />

hourly service to Geneva airport (Sfr52, three<br />

hours) via Montreux. A postal bus goes to Les<br />

Diablerets (Sfr13.20, 50 minutes) about fi ve<br />

times daily. N11 is the principal road connecting<br />

Aigle and Spiez, and it passes close to Gstaad<br />

at Saanen.<br />
