Clear Emollient Stick<br />
<strong>VARONIC</strong> ® <strong>APM</strong> 69.5 %<br />
Propylene Glycol 13.5 %<br />
Water 4.0 %<br />
Sodium Stearate 8.0 %<br />
REWOMID ® DC 212 S 5.0 %<br />
Preservative, perfume, dye q.s.<br />
Preparation:<br />
1) Dissolve the sodium stearate and the<br />
REWOMID ® DC 212 S in <strong>VARONIC</strong> ® <strong>APM</strong>,<br />
propylene glycol and water at approx. 85 °C<br />
2) Stir until clear.<br />
3) Cool to approx 75 °C and add the<br />
preservatives, perfume and dye as required.<br />
4) Pour into molds.<br />
After Shave<br />
<strong>VARONIC</strong> ® <strong>APM</strong> 1.00 %<br />

Mix all ingredients together until clear.<br />
Translucent Deodorant Stick<br />

Preparation:<br />
1) Introduce the sodium stearate in <strong>VARONIC</strong> ®<br />
<strong>APM</strong>.<br />
2) Heat while stirring to 60 °C until the sodium<br />
stearate is finely dispersed.<br />
3) Add propylene glycol and continue heating.<br />
4) Add water at 80 °C, then heat to 85 °C until<br />
clear.<br />
5) Cool while stirring to 77 °C, add perfume and<br />
deo/AP actives.<br />
6) Package at 73 °C.<br />

Preparation:<br />
1. Prepare the Hydroxyethylcellulose solution by<br />
adding it to the water and stirring it at 45 °C<br />
until it has been dissolved.<br />
2. Add TEGINACID ® , <strong>VARONIC</strong> ® <strong>APM</strong> and<br />
wheat germ oil and heat to 70 °C.<br />
3. Disperse VARISOFT ® W 575 PG in and<br />
homogenize.<br />
4. Cool down to 40°C and adjust the pH to 4.0.<br />
5. Add the preservative and perfume.<br />
Conditioning Hair Rinse for Dry Hair<br />
Phase A<br />
VARISOFT ® W 575 DPG 3.3 %<br />
TEGO ® Alkanol 16 3.3 %<br />

Preparation:<br />
1. Heat the water up to 50°C.<br />
2. Sprinkle in Hydroxyethylcellulose and allow to<br />
soak.<br />
3. Stir Phase A at 65 °C until homogenous.<br />
4. Combine water and oil phase at 65 °C and<br />
homogenize.<br />
5. After carefully cooling down to 30 °C the pH<br />
value is adjusted with citric acid.<br />
6. Add the preservative and perfume.<br />
