Create, craft, construct. Two children will explore their creativity with a session at Make
Meaning with Jennifer O’Shea (4A) and Nora Sverdlov (3A). Participants will have the choice
of making ceramics, candles, or soap. For ages 8 and up on a mutually agreeable weekday

Roll up your sleeves! Four lucky students will join Jennifer O’Shea (4A) and Stefanie Trepper
(3A) for an afternoon of baking at Ms. Trepper’s home on Manhattan’s Westside. Participants
will decorate aprons, bake a favorite recipe of the teachers, and come away with a few new
recipes to try. For ages 8 and up. For a mutually agreeable weekday after school, in April 2012.

Whether your child makes a split, strike, or a spare, it’s sure to be a fun-filled afternoon. CGPS
teachers Damian Giorlando (5 Computer) and Brian Pennington (6 English) will take four
students bowling at Chelsea Piers and then out for a post-game burger and a milkshake. For
Friday, April 20, after school, or a mutually agreeable date.

Two fortunate 5/6 grade students will join CGPS teachers Carrie Block (5/6) and Susan
Logozzo (5/6) for a NY Yankees game. The winner may choose from one of two games.

They will meet for a meal at the Shake Shack on the Upper East Side, then head to Yankee
