Your kids thought Polar Bear night was a blast? Wait ‘til they dive into a swimming pool party
for their 24 best friends. There will be one hour of free swim and games led by Jeanne Levin
and Teresa Scheve, CGPS PE/Swim teachers, at CGPS’s own swimming hole. They will also
help you supervise for one hour in the Grammar School cafeteria. You supply food and drinks.
For children Pre-K through 6th. Up to five children can be non-CGPS students. For a mutually
agreeable date and time, including weekends.

602 Minecraft Computer Party
Your child and his/her classmates will be thrilled with a Minecraft Computer Party led by
CGPS’s own master Minecrafters, Joel Levin (GS Computer) and Pat Hough (GS Technology
Coordinator). Minecraft presents a Lego-style world where children can build anything they
can imagine. Kids engage in collaborative or competitive activities but the goal is having
fun with their friends. The two-hour party will take place at school on a mutually agreeable
weekday, after school. Pizza and beverages are included. For CGPS students in Grade 2 and
up. (Space is limited and will accommodate your child’s classroom/homeroom only.)

603 Dog Gone It
One lucky student will walk CGPS’s adorable Havanese mascot, Krypto, for a week at recess
with Lower School Director, Simone Hristidis. Krypto, accompanied by Simone, will also delight
the child’s class with a visit for story time and a treat. It will be a special week for both Krypto
and your child that is certain to create happy memories!

604 Live & Learn
Jacqueline Wertzer, Grammar School Curriculum Coordinator, will provide a student in
grades PK to 6, five hours of academic support or enrichment. Your child will benefit from
a one-hour after school session, once a week, covering a pre-determined program of study
such as reading comprehension or math strategies. Mrs. Wertzer is well-versed in Columbia
Grammar’s curriculum as well as being a reading specialist. Juice and cookies included!
