The three different Star routes on Rømø

created by sand blown together
– sand which is that fine-grained
that it looks like tiny little diamonds.
On Rømø, the sun rises blushingly
over the Wadden Sea after a night’s

Danhostel Rømø is situated in a converted commander’s farm
from the mid-18th century. In the main building, you will find

The Wadden Sea
The three Star routes around Klægager give you the opportunity to experience real
nature, the interesting history and culture from close and on your own.
Local artists, the marsh, the Wadden Sea, dike construction, Schackenborg, collecting
oysters, Bronze Age mounds, the monuments for the Golden Horns and Løgumkloster
are only some of the experiences which are hidden along the Star routes around
Klægager. Along the routes, you will experience the local communities, everything that
nature has to offer and the stories about the attractions and nature. Moreover, Skærbæk,
Møgeltønder, Bredebro and Husum are some of the pleasant towns which you can
experience along the three Star routes.
Accommodation:
The accommodation is at ’Den Gamle Digegreves Gård’, Østerende 13, 6261 Ballum. This
is also the starting point of the routes. The Star routes and the number of nights can be
shortened or extended according to your own wishes and requirements. You may choose
between 2, 3 or 4 nights. At ’Den Gamle Digegreves Gård’, the old history is given pride
of place and you are taken 100 years back in time. The old farm is full of history, and the
newly decorated rooms invite you to relax. The rooms are kept in the old and light style,
some of the rooms have their own bath and toilet – if not, you will find the bath and
toilet just across or next to the room. Some of the rooms have a view of the Wadden Sea.
There is wireless Internet. At the farm, you will find cosy corners with sofas and a tv. The
farm is located in the middle of some beautiful nature where you are met by sea, marsh,

Vejen
The three different Star routes in Vejen offer numerous opportunities
for a lot of good and exciting experiences. The three routes are
very suitable for families to experience nature, art and history.
Vejen Kunstmuseum, Brørup Marked, Kongeåen, Hærvejen and
Skibelund Krat are only some of the things you may experience
along the Star routes around and in Vejen. If you are
interested in a specially planned mountain bike
route or a route for racing bike, you will find it here.
These routes are tailored to the lovely and hilly nature
that you will find around Vejen. Perhaps you also want
to experience Enghave Dyrepark which offers both
animal and nature experiences. Here you will find
various animals, a fishing lake and football golf.
Vejen and the Star routes around Vejen offer a
number of varied experiences to suit any age
and any interest.
Accommodation:
The accommodation is at ’Danhostel Vejen sport og konference’,
Petersmindevej 1 and Jacob Gades Allé 1, 6600 Vejen. This is also the
starting point of the route. The Star routes and the number of nights
can be shortened or extended according to your own wishes and
requirements.
At ’Danhostel Vejen sport og konference´ you can choose between
two different kinds of accommodation. At ’Danhostel Vejen sport’,
you will find rooms for 5-6 persons, with bunk beds, while ’Danhostel
Vejen konference’ offers hotel-like rooms for two adults and two
children. At both places, the rooms are equipped with own bath and
toilet, tv and wireless Internet. Guests may use the indoor swimming
pool free of charge on all weekdays from 5.30 to 8.00. The place invites
you to have an active holiday with lots of fun indoor and outdoor. Indoor
activities include squash, badminton and tennis, Zumba classes,
indoor cycling, tumble gym, indoor swimming pool and fitness centre.
Outdoor you can play beach volley, petanque, mini football and jump
on a jumping pillow. Near by the two hostels, you can play golf, go
angling or enjoy the beautiful nature. The hostels are situated 1 km
from the train station and only half an hour’s drive from LEGOLAND.

part of Denmark’s largest military training
ground, fantastic views of nature and landscape

things you may experience along the Star routes near
Vejers Strand. You can also experience the pleasant towns of
Blåvand, Ho and Oksbøl which all have a number of exciting attractions
and activities to offer, such as churches, exhibitions and the westernmost
point in Denmark.

The accommodation is at Vejers Feriecenter. The apartment
is selected by the rental agency.
The Star routes from Vejers Feriecenter are for 7 nights with
arrival and departure on Saturdays. You can bring your own
bike, however, bike rental is included in the price (maximum
