FMC Pave the Way We are students, a business women, a graduate, single mothers of two, tutors, and assessors, an internal verifiers, educators, advocates, qualified boxing instructors and organise and run boxing tuition, alongside organising, running, coaching and participating in, football tournaments and as you can see very busy women. All of this would not be possible if not for the educational journey taken and the kindness received from others as well as hard work and dedication of the whole team. We are the co-founders of a new, not for profit, youth and community organisation called Future M.O.L.D.S Communities, a mouthful we know so, FMC for short. We are a social enterprise and aim to identify and challenge social injustice and help others do the same, responding to the needs of and run by members of the local community. We work towards reducing the numbers of those who are not in employment, education or training and providing free positive activities for young people and support services for adults, developing effective partnership work and challenging inequality and discrimination. FMC believe that everyone should have the opportunity to ‘learn through experience’ and aim to be inspirational leaders of change through innovative and relevant ways of learning. We support the challenging of negative labels and the development of aspirational futures. We are triple award winners having scooped two Barking & Dagenham Business Awards in 2012 and then going on to receive the Docklands Business Awards. Our next aim is to
move up another step and win the National Business Awards. We are also working with UEL with the view of taking FMC global. We are keen to support and work with other single and young mums in the community to show just how powerful we can be! We are always looking to develop innovative ways of learning and new projects and services. These services are supported by our dedicated and hardworking team of volunteers and apprentices. Possible services you could participate in range from football and boxing to job club and sofa surfers housing project.
