• The Water Resources Institute at GVSU is the center for aquatic studies<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Grand River watershed and Lake Michigan.<br />
• GVSU <strong>of</strong>fers research and support for business, social services, and<br />
government. Resources include the Office <strong>of</strong> Economic Expansion<br />
with its Data Center; the Small Business Development Center; and the<br />
Kent-Ottawa-Muskegon Foreign Trade Zone.<br />
• WGVU-TV 35 and WGVK-TV 52, West Michigan's PBS television<br />
affiliates, broadcast educational, entertainment, and locally produced<br />
programming for all ages.<br />

affiliates, broadcast jazz and news programming 24 hours a day.<br />
• The Volunteer GVSU Program has logged over 140,000 hours <strong>of</strong> community<br />

available on-site at Zumberge Library as well as on- line through the<br />

Classes are 100% faculty-taught. Unlike many universities, GVSU does not use graduate students to teach undergraduates.<br />
