You can call an SCA using the following stepwise procedure:
1> Send the request to JDE server for fetching the specific business
addresses. In this case, we will fetch the business addresses whose IDs
are 1 and 9.
2> After getting the response from JDE server, JDE adapter will convert the
response to a SDO which can be understood easily by the SCA
component. And this SDO will contain two business addresses. In the SCA
component, customer can take use of the addresses.
This scenario illustrates the ability of WebSphere JDE adapter to interact with JDE
server by invoking the JDE business function. And the business address can be
invoked multiply.
Configuring the adapter for outbound processing
Run the external service wizard to specify business objects, services, and
configuration to be used in this tutorial.
Creating the project
1. Switch to the Business Integration Perspective in WebSphere
Integration Developer by choosing from the menu: Window -> Open
Perspective -> Business Integration.
2. Start the external service wizard by choosing: File-> New ->
External Service.
3. Expand Adapters and select J D Edwards and then click Next button.
