best international result so far in Vierzon. <strong>The</strong>y<br />

placed forth in <strong>the</strong> Grand Prix Special.<br />

Reve en Noir (VA)<br />

Kristine Möller won Intermediaire Freestyle<br />

on Reve en Noir by Riccione/Lanthan (breeder:<br />

Jürgen Niehs, Tülau) after placing second<br />

in Intermediaire I in Vierzon.<br />

Ronan Keating<br />

<strong>The</strong> judges gave <strong>the</strong> fifth-highest score of <strong>the</strong><br />

Prix St. Georges of Pompadour to Fabien Godelle<br />

from France and his mount Ronan Keating<br />

by Ravallo/Cavalier (breeder: Cord Badenhoop-Clausen,<br />

Neddenaverbergen).<br />

Salinero<br />

Salinero by Salieri/Lungau (breeder: Horst<br />

Bünger, Essel) and Anky van Grunsven earned<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir tickets to London at <strong>the</strong> CDIO in Rotterdam.<br />

<strong>The</strong> pair placed fifth in <strong>the</strong> Grand Prix, a<br />

result that contributed to <strong>the</strong> victory of <strong>the</strong><br />

Nation Prize for <strong>the</strong> Dutch team. <strong>The</strong> <strong>Hanoverian</strong><br />

dual victory in <strong>the</strong> freestyle was a reason<br />

to celebrate: Don Auriello first place, Salinero<br />

2nd place.<br />

Santana (VA)<br />

Minna Telde and Santana by Sandro Hit/Ru-<br />

binstein (breeder: Ingo Pape, Hemmoor) represented<br />

Sweden for <strong>the</strong> first time as a<br />

member of <strong>the</strong> Nation Prize-team that placed<br />

second behind <strong>the</strong> Dutch team.<br />

Socrate de Hus (VA)<br />

Socrate de Hus by Stedinger/Trajan (breeder:<br />

Dr. Thomas Müller, Dangersen) entered<br />

Aachen’s dressage ring for <strong>the</strong> first time. He<br />

finished Intermediaire I in fifth place with rider<br />

Jessica Michel.<br />

Warhol<br />

One of <strong>the</strong> most successful <strong>Hanoverian</strong>s at<br />

<strong>the</strong> CDI in Vierzon was Warhol by Warkant/<br />

Saint Cloud (breeder: Friedrich Sievers, Gifhorn)<br />

placing forth in Intermediaire I with rider<br />

Francoise Hologne Joux.<br />

Whisper (VA)<br />

<strong>The</strong> preparation for <strong>the</strong> Olympic Games<br />

brought Whisper by Wolkenstein II/Grenadier<br />

(breeder: Klaus Kamps. Cuxhaven) and Hiroshi<br />

Hoketsu to Lipica/Slovenia. <strong>The</strong> Japanese/<br />

<strong>Hanoverian</strong> combination finished <strong>the</strong> Grand<br />

Prix and <strong>the</strong> Special in second place.<br />

Wolkenfroh<br />

<strong>The</strong> Swedish Junior Equip finished third in <strong>the</strong><br />

Nation Prize in Hagen. Mathilde Hannell and<br />

her Wolkenfroh by Wolkenstein II/Matcho AA<br />

(breeder: Horst Ebeling, Hollnseth) were<br />

team members.<br />

Wolke Sieben<br />

<strong>The</strong> German Young Riders won gold in <strong>the</strong><br />

Nation Prize of Hagen. Wolke Sieben by Wol-<br />

Embassy II and Hans-Dieter Dreher were sensational<br />

second in Monte Carlo and Aachen.<br />

kenstein II/Hitchcock (breeder: Kurt Griemsmann,<br />

Bülkau) and Sanneke Ro<strong>the</strong>nberger<br />

were <strong>the</strong> combination with <strong>the</strong> second best<br />

result. <strong>The</strong> pair also finished <strong>the</strong> final qualification<br />

and <strong>the</strong> freestyle with a second place.<br />

Jumping<br />

A Crazy Spirit FRH<br />

<strong>The</strong> <strong>Hanoverian</strong> Association of supporters of<br />

Sport Horses and riders proudly presents<br />

ano<strong>the</strong>r FRH-horse: A Crazy Spirit FRH by<br />

Acorado/Picard (breeder: ZG Bormann, Hüddesum).<br />

He and his rider Friso Bormann<br />

traveled to <strong>the</strong> Derby in Hickstead/Great Britain<br />

after his sensational performance in<br />

Hamburg’s Derby. <strong>The</strong> pair placed fifth in <strong>the</strong><br />

first qualification.<br />

HH Ashley<br />

Rodrigo Pessoa rode HH Ashley by Acorado/<br />

Chasseur (breeder: Helmut Siefkes, Holtland)<br />

to victory in <strong>the</strong> second qualification for <strong>the</strong><br />

Grand Prix at <strong>the</strong> CHIO in Rotterdam/Ne<strong>the</strong>rlands.<br />

<strong>The</strong> pair continued on to Monte Carlo/<br />

Monaco where <strong>the</strong>y placed fifth in <strong>the</strong> qualification<br />

for <strong>the</strong> Grand Prix.<br />

Loro Piana Athletica<br />

<strong>The</strong> Polish CSIO took place in Sopot. <strong>The</strong> Italian<br />

team finished second behind Germany in<br />

<strong>the</strong> Nation Prize. Athletica by Achill-Libero H/<br />

Pit (breeder: Arend Kamphorst, Prieros) and<br />

rider Giulia Martinengo Marquet did not<br />

have to do <strong>the</strong> second round after a faultless<br />

first round.<br />

Caipirinha<br />

Caipirinha by Chequille/Lacros (breeder: Hubert<br />

Knigge, Ahlden) and rider Astrid Wulschner<br />

placed fifth in <strong>the</strong> second jumper class of<br />

<strong>the</strong> Youngster-Cup after a faultless round in<br />

Gera/Germany on <strong>the</strong> first weekend.<br />

Campagnarde<br />

Campagnarde by Carabas/Cheenook (breeder:<br />

Hubert Knigge, Ahlden) and Sebastian<br />

Haas finished <strong>the</strong> Grand Prix of Canteleu/<br />

France in forth place. <strong>The</strong> pair repeated this<br />

placement in <strong>the</strong> Grand Prix of La Clusaz/<br />

France.
