BUSINESS CONDUCT AND SIGNIFICANCE IN NEGOTIATING CONTRACTS<br />
While we already showcased the significance of our experience with international event planning, we<br />
would like <strong>to</strong> give you some facts about the business we conduct on an annual base. As of 2010 we<br />
annually handle an average of 50 meetings in all sizes, welcome up <strong>to</strong> 26.000 meeting participants with<br />
a volume of 18 Mio Euros. Out of the 26.000 participants around 20.000 book an average of 3.5 room<br />
nights with us, what results in about 70.000 hotel nights in about 70 different hotels we work with. Each<br />
meeting we handle has an average of two outside events, so we handle about 1.600 coach transports;<br />
and with normally three parallel sessions per meeting we run about 350 – 400 parallel sessions every<br />
year. Our AV Budget is annually 2.7 Mio Euros and for conference catering and social events 4.2 Mio<br />
Euros are spent. Besides the normal meeting participant we take care of about 800 invited speakers and<br />
VIPs from their flight booking till their departure after the meeting. Our pro<strong>to</strong>col and governmental<br />
affairs department welcomes up <strong>to</strong> 60 Heads of State, 80 Prime Ministers and 300 Ministers during an<br />
average of ten pro<strong>to</strong>col meetings they carry out annually.<br />
All above mentioned activities give us a significant buying and negotiating power with our vendors,<br />
clearly an advantage for our clients who also benefit from this.<br />
