Remember last year when we
introduced that incredible,
revolutionary piece of
photographic magic we call the
Arista UV Lightsource? Well, it was
a HUGE hit! Educators, artists and
students agreed that it was the

new 30”x36” Arista UV Lightsource is
quite a leap forward. Not only can it
expose an area of 30”x36”, 225% of
the exposure area of the original, but,
since its 39”x32.5” footprint takes
up so much lab space, we decided we
should make use of the lightsource’s
surface area… and added a light box

with one convenient bit of hardware.
This unit, like the original, has a
gleaming, sturdy aluminum frame
built to handle all the rigors of daily
classroom and lab work. Its ten F-30
T-8 15 watt UV lamps are designed
to be left on over the course of each
exposure session to insure maximum
life expectancy. They just need a
minimal, 1-minute warm-up time to
reach their full 370nm peak
wavelength. The easy-access, front
panel is mounted with heavy-duty,
constant-torque hinges that can hold
the door at any angle to facilitate
easy insertion and removal of your
contact frames. And there is plenty
of room for multiple frames. Its
38”x31.75”x3” interior has enough
room to evenly expose up to SIX (6)
of our 10x12 Ultimate Contact Frames!

One of the mysteries of all
digital media is archival
