OCCASIONAL COMMUNICATION<br />
An Occasional <strong>Communication</strong> <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Minnesota</strong> <strong>of</strong> A.F.<br />
& A.M. was Opened on Saturday, September 4, L982, in Slayton, for the<br />
purpose <strong>of</strong> placing the Corner Stone in the new Temple facility for Murray<br />
<strong>Lodge</strong> No. 199.<br />
The <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> was Opened in Ample Form by Most Worshipful<br />
Brother Jay A. York, <strong>Grand</strong> Master, at 1 p.m. After instructions from the<br />
<strong>Grand</strong> Master and <strong>Grand</strong> Marshal, the <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> Officers formed into<br />
proc'ession and moved to the site where the Corner Stone was to be placed.<br />
The following <strong>of</strong>ficers were in the various stations and places:<br />

At the appointed hour <strong>of</strong> 1:30 p,m. the <strong>Grand</strong> Iodge moved to the site<br />
where the Corner Stone was to be placed and proceeded to install the stone in<br />
Due and Ancient Form according to the customs <strong>of</strong> the Fraternity.<br />
Following the Corner Stone Ceremony, the <strong>Grand</strong> Master gave a brief<br />
explanation <strong>of</strong> the ceremony and then the <strong>Grand</strong> Indge returned to the Hall<br />
<strong>of</strong> Mutray <strong>Lodge</strong> and the <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> was Closed in Due Form at 2: l0 p.m.,<br />
peace and harmony prevailing.<br />
After the closing <strong>of</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> the public was invited in for a short<br />
program and an Open House hosted by the members <strong>of</strong> Murray Iodge and<br />
Prairie Chapter, O.E.S. Light refreshments were served following the<br />
program and a period <strong>of</strong> fraternal fellowship was enjoyed.<br />
